The Car History of Alex Beloff III

THE 1967 IMPALA SPORT COUPE WAS AN ALL NEW CAR.  IT SHARED THAT GORGEOUS NEW ROOF STYLE WITH SISTER DIVISION PONTIAC, BUICK AND OLDSMOBILE.  THE DASH WAS VERY IMPRESSIVE AND VERY REMINISCENT OF A CONCEPT SHOW CAR THAT CHEVROLET DISPLAYED AT COBALT HALL IN DETROIT.  IT WAS A 327 TURBO HYDRAMATIC.

THIS WAS A GOOD RELIABLE COMFORTABLE DAILY DRIVER.  I WAS FORCED TO SELL IT BECAUSE I HAD NO MORE ROOM FOR CARS IN MY DRIVEWAY.  THERE IS ALWAYS A BUYER FOR A CHEVY . . . AMERICA’S NUMBER 1 SELLING CAR BACK THEN.  WE ALSO HAD A HUGE CHEVROLET STAMPING PLANT IN INDIANAPOLIS SO A SOURCE FOR LOYAL CHEVY EMPLOYEES WHO WANT TO DRIVE WHAT THEY PRODUCE.  BACK THEN GM HAD ALMOST 50% OF THE AMERICAN MARKET.
