TO COMPLETE THE SALE OF MY 1963 CADILLAC COUPE, I TOOK ON A TRADE THIS 1960 LITTLE STUDEBAKER LARK. THE CAR PERFORMED BEAUTIFULLY BUT THE INTERIOR NEEDED HELP. I REPAINTED THE ENTIRE CAR INCLUDING THE WHEELS TO MATCH THE SAME COLOR AS MY DAD’S 1957 CADILLAC CONVERTIBLE. A SET OF SEARS SEAT COVERS, AND MY CLEAN UP TALENTS MADE THE CAR READY FOR A NEW HOME. THE NEIGHBORS AT THE TRAILER PARK COULDN’T BELIEVE THE TRANSFORMATION. NOTE LICENSE PLATE IN BACK WINDOW.
I SOLD IT TO A MAN ANXIOUS TO HAVE IT AS HIS “BAR” CAR. WHEN I SAID WHAT IS A BAR CAR, HE SAID I TAKE IT TO BARS AND HAVE TOO MUCH TO DRINK. I LEAVE IT THERE AND TAKE A CAB HOME TRYING TO REMEMBER THE NEXT DAY WHERE I LEFT IT . . . PERFECT BAR CAR!
