The Car History of Alex Beloff III

THIS SILVER 1976 ELDORADO CONVERTIBLE REFLECTED THE OWNERS INCREDIBLE DEDICATION TO PRESERVING THE TOUGHEST OF COLORS IN THIS LAST YEAR PRODUCTION FACTORY CONVERTIBLE (NOT EVEN CORVETTE MADE A CONVERTIBLE IN 1976) THIS WAS IT FOR GM –  THE ONLY ONE.  SILVER  –  IF YOU SCRATCH IT, YOU DENT IT, YOU REFINISH IT  –  IT WILL LOOK LIKE A SPECKLED TROUT.  BACK THEN ANYONE WHO COULD MATCH SILVER ON A LUXURY CAR COULD WALK ON WATER. THE DASH STEERING WHEEL AND THE WOOD INLAY WERE FREE OF CRACKS AND ABRASIONS.  DRIVERS DOOR IS UNTOUCHED FROM MEN’S WATCHES, RINGS AND FINGERNAILS.  THE CARPET AREA BY THE SILL PLATES ON DRIVER’S SIDE (WORST FOR SHOWING SOIL) APPEARED TO BE BRAND NEW.  I CHECKED UNDER THE CARPET, THE FACTORY TAGS ARE STILL IN PLACE.  THE OWNER HAD AN AWFUL TIME GETTING PREMIUM MONEY FOR A PREMIUM CAR. I AGREED TO PURCHASE HIS CAR AT HIS PRICE.

I ALWAYS HAVE FRIENDS OF MINE WHO WILL PAY BLOODY MURDER FOR SUCH A VEHICLE.  I ALERTED THEM ON THE PHONE.  THEY SEND CERTIFIED FUNDS AND I STORE IT CAREFULLY MAKING ARRANGEMENTS FOR SHIPMENT.  ONE PHONE CALL DID THE TRICK AND I SOLD IT IN ABSOLUTE SECRECY.
