The Car History of Alex Beloff III

THE 1988 CADILLAC SEDAN DEVILLE WAS A PERFECT LOOK A LIKE FOR THE OLDSMOBILE AND THE BUICK.  IT WAS A VERY SMALL CAR.  I LEARNED WITH CAREFUL RESTYLING I COULD CHANGE THE ENTIRE APPEARANCE. I ORDERED SPECIFICALLY FOR RESTYLING A CADILLAC THAT WOULD SELL QUICKLY GENERATING IMPRESSIVE PROFITS.  ARRIVING AT DRENNEN CADILLAC AS THE NEW SALES MANAGER, THEY WANTED ME TO PERFORM MIRACLES THROUGH CAREFUL RESTYLING TO MOVE THEIR AGING UNSOLD INVENTORY.  YOUNG DRENNEN, GM AND OWNER, SAID, YOU ARE GOING TO PUT $8,000 OF RESTYLING ITEMS ON A SEVILLE SITTING ON THE SHOWROOM FLOOR FOR MONTHS THAT NO ONE SEEMS TO WANT AND IT IS GOING TO SELL.  I SAID, YES.  HE SAID, YOU BETTER BE RIGHT.  WE HARDLY HAD THE RESTYLING FINISHED AND THE CAR WAS SOLD.  NOTE RWD FLEETWOOD WITH VOGUE TYRES, CHROME WIRE WHEELS, GRILL AND GOLD.

INITIALLY HE SAID, WHY DON’T YOU BUY ONE AND RESTORE IT TO SHOW US.  I DID AND THAT IS THIS METALLIC RED DEVILLE. I ORDERED A METALLIC RED, WHITE LEATHER RED CARPETS DEVILLE—AN IMPULSIVE CAR.  THE WHITE CARRIAGE TOP, CONTINENTAL KIT, TRUE WIRE WHEELS, VOGUE TYRES, AND REAL 24 CARROT GOLD EMBLEMS SET IT OFF WITH A CUSTOM GRILL.    SO MANY PEOPLE WERE IMPRESSED WITH MY CAR, THEY WANTED ME TO CREATE ONE FOR THEM.

AS THE MODEL CHANGE WAS APPROACHING, I SOLD THE CAR.  I WAS CREATING UNITS THAT THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYWHERE ELSE.  IT BECAME A HUGE SALES SUCCESS CREATING A NEW STYLE AND FASHION .  DON’T LAUGH  –  TODAY VEHICLE AFTERMARKET IS 30 BILLION ANNUALLY AND GROWING.
