The Car History of Alex Beloff III

I FOUND THIS 1963 GRAND PRIX IN PERRYSBURG SITTING AT THE CURB OF A LESS TRAVELED SIDE STREET WITH GORGEOUS WHITE BUCKET SEAT INTERIOR.  THE CAR HAD MANY COMPELLING FEATURES INCLUDING 8 LUGS.  CAUTION:  JUST BECAUSE IT HAS 8 LUGS DOESN’T MEAN THEY ARE ROAD WORTHY.  IF THE BRAKE SHOES ARE INTO THE RIVETS AND THERE IS NOT ENOUGH METAL LEFT IN THE DRUM TO TURN, YOU ARE SUNK WHICH WAS THE CASE HERE.  IT HAD A RARE PONTIAC WOODEN STEERING WHEEL.

IF IT BECAME COMMON KNOWLEDGE THAT ALEX HAD SHOWN INTEREST IN A SPECIFIC CAR, ALL OF A SUDDEN EVERYONE WANTED THAT CAR.  WE MADE A DEAL AND BEFORE I COULD RETRIEVE THE PRISTINE WHITE BUCKET SEAT INTERIOR, A LOCAL COLLECTOR WAS WAVING CASH IN MY FACE.  IT HAD A NEW OWNER.
