YOU SEE MY 1959 PONTIAC STAR CHIEF WITH THE NEW FIRST TIME OFFERED PARASOL TOP THAT WAS MOTOR TRENDS CAR OF THE YEAR 1959. IT SHARES THE SAME DIMENSIONS AS THE BONNEVILLE. AND STYLING IS SIMILAR. THIS IS A FACTORY TWO BBL 389 FOUR SPEED HYDROMATIC SINGLE EXHAUST.
NOTICE ORIGINAL ORANGE FLORIDA PLATE WHICH WAS DETERMINED BY THE CURB WEIGHT OF THE VEHICLE. IT HAD A HANG ON FACTORY AIR UNIT BELOW THE DASH. I TWO TONED THE DASH SILVER ON THE BOTTOM AND CHROME PLATED THE DOG LEGS.
I POLISHED THE ALUMINUM DASH TRIM UNTIL IT LOOKED CHROME PLATED. THIS CAR IS THE RESULT OF MY NEW 1964 GRAND PRIX BEING KEY SCRATCHED THE LENGTH ON SIDE. VINCE WEBB PONTIAC, PENSACOLA FLORIDA REPAINTED MY GRAND PRIX TO PERFECTION. I KNEW IN SIX MONTHS BECAUSE OF OXIDATION, IT WOULD LOOK A SPECKLED TROUT.
I SOLD THAT CAR TO THIS CPA WHO TRADED IN THE 1959 STAR CHIEF. I DETAILED IT, REPLACED A BROKEN MOTOR MOUNT AND SOLD IT FOR A VERY ATTRACTIVE PRICE.
