The Car History of Alex Beloff III

THIS IS MY 1971 BRAND NEW CADILLAC THAT I PURCHASED FROM ED TUTWILER, INDIANAPOLIS.  THE 1971 CADILLAC WAS AN ENTIRELY NEW CAR.  VERY HANDSOME LOOKING AND INTERIOR/EXTERIOR WAS FIRST RATE.  VERY HARD TO COME BY SO I PRE-ORDERED BECAUSE I WANTED SILVER BLUE, WHITE LEATHER WITH BLUE CARPETS AND DASH AND WHITE TOP AS YOU SEE HERE.  NOTE IN TOP PHOTO TO THE LEFT OF THE DRIVER’S DOOR IS MY 1962 LIGHT BLUE BONNEVILLE CONVERTIBLE THAT I HAD BEEN TRANSPLANTING 421 ENGINE, 8 LUGS AND FRONT BRIGHT WORK FROM THE RED 1962 BONNEVILLE COUPE IN FORMER PHOTOS.

MY DAUGHTER THERESA WENT EVERY WHERE WITH ME THAT I WAS ABLE TO TAKE HER AFTER SCHOOL AND FOR CHORES.  SHE DEVELOPED A GREAT LOVE FOR CARS TOO.  SHE IS WITH HER BALL AND THE CAR BELOW.  IT WAS NOT LONG WHEN FRIENDS AND MY FORMER OWNERS WANTED FIRST DIBS ON MY NEW 1971 COUPE DEVILLE.

AS YOU WILL DISCOVER IN SUBSEQUENT VEHICLES, WHEN I WAS HIRED AS THE NEW CAR SALES MANAGER FOR MCGONIGAL BUICK CADILLAC IN KOKOMO BY FENTON, GENERAL MANAGER AND OWNER, HE STRONGLY URGED ME TO BUY A NEW BUICK. I WOULD BE PROVIDED A DEMONSTRATOR BUT THEN EVERYONE WHO SEES ME IN A BUICK WILL START THINKING THAT’S WHAT THEY SHOULD HAVE.

THE REASON THAT I HAD TO BE CAREFUL SELLING MY CADILLACS WAS I HAD TO OBSERVE STRICT RULES SET OUT BY MR. TUTEILER.  YOU COULD ONLY BUY ONE NEW CADILLAC A YEAR AT THE WHISPERING PRICE AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ARE THEY TO BE SOLD TO AN EXISTING TUTWILER CUSTOMER OR A POTENTIAL VERY RECENT OWNER INVOLVED IN NEGOTIATIONS.

I NEVER BETRAY A CONFIDENCE OR THE RULES THAT I AM AWARE OF.  DON’T KID YOURSELF.  THEY HAVE THEIR WAYS OF SETTING UP A SITUATION TO SEE HOW YOU WILL REACT.  I ALWAYS CAME AWAY WITH A CLEAN REPORT CARD AND TOLD THE POTENTIAL OWNER YOU REALLY SHOULD STICK WITH TUTWILER. THEY CAN PROVIDE AN OWNER EXPERIENCE THAT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO DUPLICATE AND MY CONCERN IS YOUR HAPPINESS BEHIND THE WHEEL REGARDLESS WHO DELIVERS YOU THE CAR OF YOUR CHOICE.
